Today, as we mark International Women’s Day, I was honoured to join the women of West Bunyore as we commemorated this day at Roddy’s Hotel.
In my address, I shared with them my interest in serving as Woman Representative for Vihiga County in 2027 and the vision.
✅️Fighting land injustices that continue to deny many women their rightful ownership and inheritance of land.
✅️Combating GBV and ensuring women and girls live in dignity and safety.
✅️Strengthening and empowering women’s groups and unlocking opportunities that allow women to grow economically and socially.
✅️Uplifting Persons Living with Disabilities, ensuring they are supported, included, and given the opportunities they deserve.
✅️Finally, to champion equality in education so that both girls have the chance to learn, grow, and achieve their dreams.
