A proud daughter of Bunyore, Vihiga County, where my roots remind me of the importance of community, resilience, and service. From an early age, I aspired to make a difference, a path that led me to study medicine at the University of Nairobi and later pursue a Master’s in Infectious Diseases from the University of London. My career in health has been guided by a single question: how can systems work better for people, especially women and children.

Over the years, I have held leadership roles spanning health, policy, advocacy, and research both locally and internationally. I have served as a Health Systems Consultant, advising on governance, accountability, and equitable access to care. I have been a Program Director, leading reforms in financing, policy, and citizen engagement for better health outcomes. As a Chief Executive Officer, I represented professionals in legislative and policy processes, advocating for ethical practice, patient rights, and systemic reforms. I have also served as a Principal Investigator in clinical research, overseeing vaccine trials with rigorous ethical standards.
